This is a part-time position.


•Organize and maintain legal files, both electronic and paper. 
•Provide primary administrative support to corporate attorneys, including travel and expense reports, and affiliations and memberships. 
•Assist with selection of and migration to a new Legal Department document management system. 
•Prep standard non-disclosure agreements based on Elo employee input. 
Perform initial review of third party non-disclosure agreements to assist AGC. 
•Assists with document execution mechanics, and maintenance of fully executed originals. 
•Oranize and maintain files and documentation for Elo subsidiaries. 
•Maintain schedule and database of corporate secretarial filings in each jurisdiction, both US and foreign. 
•Field document requests. 
•Field and respond to general requests to Legal Department. 
•Prepares electronic document comparison. 
•Prepare and maintain pleadings files and related litigation files, as needed. 
•Prepare various PowerPoint and Excel presentations. 
•Proof documents and presentations. 
•Create and maintain task lists and project plans, and follow up with persons inside and outside legal department as necessary. 
•Read and route incoming mail; prepare and send correspondence. 
•Assist in some administrative details, usually of a confidential nature. 
•File correspondence and other records. 
•Schedule appointments for supervisors. 
•Performs general legal research, as needed. 
•Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter. 
•May compile and type statistical reports.

Ideal Background:

•1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant or Corporate Paralegal. 
•Proficient in PC word processing software such as Word and spreadsheet software such as Excel. 
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
•Excellent organization and detail-oriented skills.

Education and qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 
•Notary public membership. 
•Paralegal/legal assistant training preferred.

Specific Professional Skills/Competencies:

•Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
•Ability to work under pressure. 
•Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
•Excellent telephone and email etiquette.

This Project is seeking consultants.
